David Newbould Band

The David Newbould Band is perfect for any upbeat urbanite event. Compared as a performer to such luminaries as Jeff Buckley and Rufus Wainwright, deemed "world class" as a songwriter by Sony Music, and with a song featured on the soundtrack of WB's "Dawson's Creek (Season 2)" DVD, David Newbould has rapidly earned himself a loyal fan base and respect as an emerging star.

Originally from New York City and currently performing in and around Austin, Texas, he has - with his unique approach and intimate delivery - won audiences over, both when performing solo and with his full band.

Beginning to receive serious acclaim within circles of both musicians and press, he is coming out from under the radar which those to whom his music has been held so close have called their own. A buzz has begun to develop among various A&R reps and label heads through his great songs and putting on a killer live show with his band. These are qualities that make him one of Austin's true musical jewels.

Paris 49

This band was nominated as one of the best jazz bands in 2004!

Formed in Austin, Texas late 2003, Paris 49 gathers 5 guys who share the same passion for American Jazz and its interpretation by Django Reinhardt's various bands of the 30's and 40's. The sound is the blend of 2 electrified Gypsy guitars and the tenor saxophone, a thick and surreal effect. Upright bass and drums work intricately together, flirting with a Be-Bop beat, while never really stating it.
