Creative. Unique. Original.
These are three words that describe Jetté Faith Momant. Some would call her a professional bridesmaid (she’s been in nine weddings); others have called her a sassy Martha Stewart type (pre Martha’s jail time—"It’s a good thing”). Most would describe Jetté as an innovative creative who sees possibility in almost any situation.
Jetté’s creativity was first awakened as a child when she received her first paint by numbers set, but she soon graduated to painting without numbers to guide her. Instead, her exhaustive imagination acted as her guide and the beauty of creation played the part of her muse.
In 2004, Jetté Faith Momant created and launched her own award winning event, wedding and lifestyle marketing firm based in Austin, Texas called Décor Jetté, an event planning business with an emphasis on “on the edge” and “avant garde” décor. Her projects have included designing and coordinating weddings, and helping to boost sales and gain interest and clientele for area boutiques, catering companies, restaurants, and independent jewelry artisans through unique and creative event marketing and public relations initiatives. Through owning this company, she became quite well versed in the media landscape of Austin and the surrounding region. Jetté understands that the best coordinators go above and beyond for their clients. And in 2007, Citysearch voters ranked Décor Jetté as one of the top ten event planning companies in the city.
Momant has also served as a public relations account executive for lifestyle clients in Chicago, where her clients included lounges, bars, restaurants, boutiques and concierge services. She has also been an independent public relations consultant for the award winning public relations and marketing firm Infinite Inc based in Indianapolis, IN. While working with them she developed signature events for their company in an effort to further boost brand recognition and creatively gain more client accounts. She also assisted with their clients’ branding, public relations and marketing initiatives. This included publicizing Indiana’s Major Opportunities/Work One initiatives; facilitating New York based nonprofit National Urban Fellows recruitment events; and addressing sensitive community issues involving Clarian Hospital by raising awareness of the board members’ concerns and facilitating round table discussions with community leaders and the hospital’s president.
Momant possesses bridled passion. She’s someone who can take the initiative to do what is needed to be done in a creative manner, but who has the discernment to understand the parameters. This is where her psychology degree is put to use: people say one thing, but they may be thinking something else. Her job is to get into the head of her clients, discover what makes them tick, and craft her communication solutions so they feel and know that they are part of it. She connects with them, finds out what they need, and goes above and beyond to deliver it. Knowing and understanding people helps her to succeed at boosting the client’s bottom line and executing an event that was everything the client envisioned.
